The aim of the Interreg Nord project “Ny mat från Arctic” was to increase the competitiveness, growth and profitability of food companies in the northernmost parts of Finland, Sweden and Norway. The companies that participated have taken part in study visits to different food regions in Europe and gained knowledge in product development to be able to meet new needs and demands in larger geographical and international markets.
The project resulted in new possibilities and an opportunity to create a platform for the entrepreneur Åsa Pesula.
